What did the client request?

The client, a well established commercial play equipment specialist approached us to manufacture and install four large interconnected shade sails. The shade sails covered an area of approximately 580m2 and was situated over one of their existing play equipment sites in a highly populated child’s playground located close to a lake, problems were encountered excavating piers with a lot of rock and water seepage, complicating the process.

The client requested four interconnected shade sail to be installed covering the soft fall area which had to clear the height of the play equipment. The total shade area spanned across almost 580m2 and was held up by 9 heavy duty posts made to withstand the load of these sails.

The families and children that visit this recreational reserve can now be assured that their children are able to play on the equipment safely out of the sun’s harmful rays.
