A series of projection domes displayed in Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne for Mercedes Benz transformed these public spaces into an impressive multi sensory exhibition turning the dome into a highly visual and dynamic work of art.

What did the client request?

Our client was after some light weight waterproof canopies to suit two different sized temporary semi hemisphere dome structures to be used in Mercedes Benz Star Dome promotion. They also needed the canopy to be manufactured out of a block-out fabric as they were wanting to project images on the inside of the canopy during the day.

We were able to consult with our fabric suppliers and design a block-out PVC that was almost half the weight of a stock standard PVC, allowing the construction crew to install the canopy with ease.

Utilising our in house CAD team, we were able to pattern the water tight canopy to fit snug against the frame.
